Brittney West is a visual artist and animal activist currently living in Corvallis, Oregon. West is an award-winning painter who has exhibited internationally. She currently has work in the world’s largest animal rights art collection--The Sheppard Collection in London. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts. Over the last 18 years, West has donated artwork and a portion of her proceeds to various animal advocacy and human development organizations. Her work aims to encourage inner and outer dialogue about the roles we play in urgent and universal topics, working towards reducing suffering and creating a more compassionate coexistence--for animals, humans, and the environment alike. She passionately believes that art is more than aesthetics; it is a form of action that can help us shape a better version of ourselves and the world in which we live.
West now primarily paints and manages her art & jewelry business, Plant Posse. Check out that work HERE! |
